Another day goes by and I don’t even try.
I just sit in my room tryin to make a tune.
This is how I pass the time writing in a rhyme.
But how long will this last before it drifts into my past?
It seem like everything I do, I hit a wall.
And when I hit this wall it causes me to fall
And when I fall I don’t nearly feel as tall
And it makes me wonder why I even try at all
I feel like a slug, draggin along in life
And each obstacle I hit causes so much strife
Why do I move so slow?
It’s because I fear what I don’t know, what I don’t know
And it makes me wonder, why I try
At all.
